Candy Manufacturing Process Improvement Study


Vestal’s Process and Mechanical Engineers worked with an international candy manufacturer to improve productivity on one of its confection lines.  Through observation and evaluation of the manufacturing process, including sequence analysis and the study of raw materials, velocity, viscosity and temperatures, Vestal’s Engineer’s recorded major process equipment used in the manufacturing process, document assumed flow velocities, viscosity, temperatures and develop a list of recommendations for product improvements, process improvements and automation and control improvements.
