Welcome Benny Sunkle

Benny brings significant project scheduling experience to our company. She started her Project career in 2011 in Lagos Nigeria, where she worked on major oil and gas projects. She has been working on utility projects in Texas since 2017.
She has a Bachelor degree in Engineering, is certified in Project Management (PMP), and is a Scrum Master. Benny will be responsible for managing all project schedules for Vestal. She will also be driving the upgrades and changes to our scheduling process to allow us to more effectively assess manpower, resources, and earned value vs planned value.

In her new role, Erica will assist Paul Sabal, the Director of Architecture, with the day-to-day operations of the Architectural Department, provide design leadership to multiple project teams, and work with team members to further develop their skills through mentoring and continuing education opportunities.

Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation (SIHF) Breaks Ground on New Urgent Care Facility in the Metro-East

SIHF,  in conjunction with  Touchette Regional Hospital broke ground on East St. Louis’ first Urgent Care Clinic.  The project is in part, the result of a grant from Illinois Healthcare Transformation Collaboratives and a first step in the larger “LifeBridge” Campaign that will, connect health and social conditions to create a path to good health.   Larry McCulley CEO of both SIHF and Touchette Regional Hospital stated, ” We are extremely pleased to be launching this much-needed service for the residence of the greater East St. Louis metro area.

Vestal Corporation’s – Healthcare Group supported SIHF and its General Contractor partner, Impact Strategies through providing Integrated Design Services for the new $2.8 million, 5,000 square foot Urgent Care Facility.  The new facility is connected to an existing SIHF Healthcare Facility and includes, Reception, Patient Waiting Area, Exam Rooms, Procedure Room, Laboratory and Radiology Services.  The structure was designed to blend the existing building architecture but express its unique purpose through innovative design elements and positioning”
